Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using The Lazy Inn (the “Service”), located at https://thelazyinn.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to access or use The Lazy Inn. By creating an account, you affirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. User Accounts & Security

You may create an account using email and password or third-party authentication (such as Google OAuth). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

The Lazy Inn is designed for creative roleplay, fiction writing, and interactive storytelling. You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Generate, upload, or promote content involving child sexual exploitation, non-consensual sexual abuse material, or extreme real-world violence.
• Harass, threaten, or defame any real individuals or organizations.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or compromise the infrastructure of the Service.
• Violate the acceptable use policies of your connected third-party LLM providers (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek).

5. Intellectual Property & User Content

You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights in any character cards, personas, scenarios, and conversation prompts you author or upload to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us only the limited technical license necessary to store, process, and display your content to you within the application.

6. AI-Generated Output Disclaimer

All narrative responses and dialogue generated by characters within the Service are produced by artificial intelligence models. Outputs are purely fictional, may contain factual inaccuracies or unexpected narrative directions, and do not represent the opinions or beliefs of The Lazy Inn. We make no guarantees regarding accuracy or completeness.

7. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time via the self-serve deletion tool in Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive platform behavior.
